Two alleged ritualists arrested with body parts in Kwara


Two suspected ritualists, Wasiu Omonose (35) and Akanbi Ibrahim (32) were caught with fresh human heads and wrists in Kwara on Sunday.

They were arrested by the police on the Oke Oyi/Jebba road while riding a motorbike.

According to Kwara State Command Police Public Relations (PRO) Officer Ajayi Okasanmi (SP), the suspects tried to evade officers on a stop and search mission when they were apprehended .

“Their action aroused the suspicions of officers who then gave them a hot hunt.

“A bag containing a fresh human head and wrists was found in their possession,” Okasanmi said.

He added that the suspects, both from Share in Ifelodun local government area of ​​the state, confessed that they were taking the items to an Alfa in Ilorin for ritual purposes.
