ONE Direction fans flooded Madame Tussauds with requests for the boys’ body parts after the wax museum decided to pull the band from the show.
Some diehard directors wanted to buy all five characters – one offering to fly them on a private jet to Australia.
Wax works by Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik were first shown in 2013.
They remained popular even after the band broke up six years ago.
Tim Waters, from Madame Tussauds London, said: ‘Now is the time to say goodbye to them.
“One super fan even said he’d be willing to hire a private jet from Sydney to fly the figurines to him.
“The number of requests we’ve received offering to own some or all of our One Direction figurines shows the impact they’ve had on their fans.
“This move is to make way for the exciting reimagining of our much-loved Music Zone that will allow guests to put themselves in the spotlight like never before.”
