For those of you wondering, anaplastology deals with prosthetic replacements for missing or disfigured parts of the face or body, which are anatomically critical. Season 1 saw Vest help patients by making noses, ears, nipples, and even limbs. Who stars in the series ‘Body Parts’ Season 2
With over 20 years of experience under her belt, Allison Vest is a renowned anaplastologist. Vest is the vice president of the International Association of Anaplastology. She is also the owner of Mosaic Prosthetics and was previously chair of the Board for Certification in Clinical Anaplastology. A classically trained artist, Vest holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Visualization from the University of Illinois and received clinical training at the University of Florida Dental School and Morriston Hospital in Swansea. , in Wales.
What is ‘Body Parts’ season 2 about?
Season 1 was about Vest making a range of prosthetics, such as noses, limbs, nipples, and ears, helping children and older patients find new life. Season 2 will likely feature patients with similar stories as Vest guides them through prosthetic rehabilitation, breathing new life into them.
